Cathy-Joy Ceremonies
I provide the frame — the picture inside is all yours
I think my work as a celebrant is a bit like straightening a picture frame in someone else's hallway — a small gesture, really, but one that somehow helps the whole room feel more itself.
What I do isn't grand or showy; it's quieter than that, and I hope all the more meaningful for it.
I sit with people, listen properly — the sort of listening where you only later realise your tea's gone cold — and from their stories I shape ceremonies that feel honest and familiar, as if they've always belonged in the family.
My super‑power, if one can call it that, is the way I weave your stories into words.
Yours is owning that story, stepping into it with confidence and heart.
And my role, really, is to let you take centre stage while I simply hold the space around you, steady and unobtrusive, making sure everything feels as it should.
After all, if I'd wanted to be the main event, I'd have joined RADA. Instead, I'm here — doing the thoughtful, quiet work that helps your moment become exactly what you need it to be.
