Your Ceremony Journey - Step-by-Step

The journey depends on the service you select, but the outline below gives you a sense of the general flow and how we’ll work together. It’s simply here to help you understand what to expect and how the process tends to unfold.

1. The First Step — Initial Consultation (Free of Charge)

A relaxed 30‑minute phone call, video chat, or face‑to‑face meeting in your home if you’re within 30 miles. 

It’s a gentle space for us to connect, see whether my style feels right for you, and explore what you’re hoping for. You’re welcome to ask anything, and I’ll share some sample script extracts so you can get a feel for my writing. 

This first conversation is simply to help you feel informed, comfortable, and supported from the very beginning.

2. Securing Your Date

If you choose to move forward, you’ll confirm the services you’d like and sign my Service Agreement. A 50% non‑refundable deposit then secures your date and my time, ensuring your ceremony is fully booked into my calendar. 

We’ll also agree the dates for delivery of your draft script, your review period, and the finalised version — and, if you’ve chosen me to deliver the ceremony, we’ll confirm the ceremony date itself

3. The Deep‑Dive Story Meeting

An in‑depth conversation (online or in person) where we explore your story, your values, and the heart of what this ceremony means to you. 

We’ll talk about what you do want — and just as importantly, what you don’t — so the ceremony feels aligned, authentic, and free from anything that doesn’t fit. 

This is a thoughtful, grounded discussion that helps us shape the tone, structure, and emotional landscape of your ceremony together.

4. The Drafting Process

I craft your bespoke ceremony script, weaving together your story, tone, and chosen elements into a coherent, meaningful whole. 

You’ll receive a draft to review, and we’ll refine it together — shaping, adjusting, and polishing until every word feels true to you and the moment you’re creating.

5. Final Polish & Ceremony Delivery

If you’ve booked a script‑only service, you’ll receive your final polished version after we’ve completed your review and refinement process. If you’ve chosen the full ceremony service, we can also arrange (for an additional fee) an optional rehearsal to help you feel grounded and confident ahead of the day. 

When the moment arrives, I deliver your ceremony with care, presence, and a sense of occasion, holding the space so you and your people can simply be in it.
